Many DP systems must have an Estimated Position Error (EPE) less than 6 feet to be stable, so the geometry of your constellation along with outages can be your weakest link.

Download the Following two programs into a common folder and you'll know from now on, how many satellites your receiver should be getting, at any given time during your watch, or during a full 24hr period. This is real time, after a couple easy steps are followed the data will match your DGPS or GPS exactly.
